Duty joined Kids Alive International serving as Vice President of Development, overseeing all of the development, communications, and marketing programs for Kids Alive. She is a graduate of Cedarville University with a degree in Political Science and an emphasis on International Relations along with minors in Biology and Bible. Blohm - Executive Administrative Assistant - Valerie grew up in neighboring Portage, Indiana and was somewhat familiar with Kids Alive International, but it wasn’t until 2002 that God opened the doors for her to join the staff as Executive Administrative Assistant. An elementary teacher for 7 years and secretary for 8 years, Genny not only has an eye for detail - a necessity for the accounting department - but always has a good joke up her sleeve! Matt and Mel Parker and their two young children, Katie and Nathan, came to Kids Alive International from Yeovil Community Church, in the southwest of England in the late 1990s. Jeff and his wife, Ann, and their family joined the Kids Alive staff in 1997. Jeff and Ann both have Bachelor’s degrees from Bethel College in Minnesota in Cross Cultural Studies and Anthropology, respectively.
